Dear User,
SAN GIORGIO S.R.L., based at via del Roncheto n. 87 – 34146 Trieste, as data controller (hereinafter the 'Controller'), informs you that the personal data you provide through the website, or that are otherwise collected in connection with the services offered, are processed in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency laid down by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ('GDPR'), and by means suitable to ensure the protection of confidentiality and of your rights.
Personal data may be collected when users fill in the forms on the website to request information, or in connection with the management of the services offered by the company.
In particular, data such as first name, surname, email address and any other information entered by users in the forms on the website may be processed.
Personal data are processed mainly to enable the company to handle the contact or information requests sent by users through the website. In such cases, the processing is necessary to respond to the data subject's request and is therefore based on the need to take steps at the user's request prior to entering into a contract, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
In addition, as part of the services offered by the company, the Controller may create a user account and provide the data subject with login credentials for the online platform, in order to allow access to the content and services available in the restricted area of the website. In this case, personal data are processed to manage access to the platform and to enable use of the services provided, on the basis of the performance of a contract with the data subject or of steps taken prior to entering into a contract.
The provision of data is optional; however, failure to provide data may make it impossible for the Controller to handle the user's request or to allow access to the services of the website.
Personal data are processed using electronic and, where necessary, paper-based means, in compliance with the security measures required by current legislation and by means suitable to ensure the confidentiality of the data.
Personal data may be processed by the Controller's staff and collaborators specifically authorised to process them, and may be disclosed to third parties providing services related to the management of the website or the delivery of the services offered (for example IT or hosting service providers), who act as processors pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities or competent bodies where required by current legislation.
In general, the service providers used by the Controller operate through infrastructure located within the European Union. Should data be transferred to countries outside the European Union for technical reasons related to the services used, such transfer will take place in compliance with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions of the European Commission or the adoption of the standard contractual clauses provided for by the legislation.
Personal data will be kept for no longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and, in particular:
· data collected through the contact or information request forms will be kept for the time needed to handle the request and, in any case, for no longer than 12 months, unless a contractual relationship is established;
· data processed to manage access to the platform and the online services will be kept for the entire duration of the contractual relationship or of the use of the services and, thereafter, for the time needed to fulfil any legal obligations or to protect the Controller's rights.
The website may also contain links or buttons leading to social networks (for example LinkedIn or other similar services). These tools allow users to access the relevant social platforms directly. Any processing of personal data carried out by these platforms is governed by the respective privacy policies of the individual social networks.
At any time, data subjects may exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15-22 GDPR, including the right to access their personal data, to obtain rectification or updating, erasure of the data or restriction of processing, or to object to processing, in the cases provided for by law.

Pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016 and Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, in accordance with the Guidelines of 10 June 2021, this notice describes how cookies and other tracking tools are used by the website, and how users can manage their preferences.
'Cookies' are strings of text that the websites visited send to the user's device, where they are stored and then sent back to the same websites on the next visit. The term also covers similar technologies such as local storage, pixel tags, web beacons or equivalent tools.
Technical cookies
The website uses technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the platform, the management of the browsing session, system security, load balancing and the storage of any preferences expressed by the user (for example language or technical settings).

The website may use analytics cookies to collect statistical information on the use of the website and to improve the services offered.
Where these cookies are configured to collect only aggregated and anonymised data, with no possibility of identifying the user, no combination with other data and no transmission to third parties for further purposes, they are treated in the same way as technical cookies and do not require consent.
Where, on the other hand, they allow the user to be identified, even indirectly, or are combined with other information, their installation is subject to the user's prior consent.
Profiling and marketing cookies
Subject to the user's prior consent, the website may use profiling and marketing cookies intended to analyse browsing behaviour, create profiles of the user (including by means of pseudonymous identifiers) and offer personalised content or communications.
The legal basis for the processing is the consent given pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 122 of the Privacy Code.
Not giving consent does not affect the ability to browse the website.
Third-party cookies
Where the website uses third-party cookies, these may be installed on the user's device by parties other than the Controller. In such cases, the website collects consent for their installation, while the subsequent processing of the data is carried out by the third party as an independent controller, in accordance with its own privacy and cookie policies.
Users are invited to consult the third parties' policies for full details of how the data are processed.
