DGR Training School

The air transport of dangerous goods

It is a field governed by precise, constantly evolving international rules, which require everyone involved to receive specific and periodic training. The safety of every shipment and the company's regulatory compliance depend on this expertise.

San Giorgio's DGR Training School trains the staff who prepare, ship, accept, handle and check dangerous goods. The courses are recognised by ENAC and comply with IATA and ICAO international standards.

Choose San Giorgio

San Giorgio is a training organisation listed in ENAC's Register of Training Organisations for the Air Transport of Dangerous Goods. We have been working in security training and aviation security since 2006: in aviation security we are an ENAC-recognised training school, and the same experience underpins our dangerous goods training. This means we teach procedures knowing the real context in which they are applied.

The courses follow the CBTA (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) approach set out in the regulations: assessment measures not only the knowledge acquired, but also the ability to apply it at work. Lessons are led by certified instructors with direct experience of air operations and cargo transport.

The courses

The courses cover all the operational functions set out in the regulations, from preparing shipments to acceptance, from warehouse handling to screening, as both initial and refresher courses.
